Yeah, im not one of those "dilla changed my life" types, \I've gone back a realized how much of his music i enjoyed and how many of my fav. producers he has influenced but im gonna check this out now to get schooled

I was always the type, like Rosenberg said, that said, "Dilla? I hear his name all of the time, and know he did this track and that track but really how important was he?"
This lil mix showed me that I knew even MORE of his work, but I also found out how much of an influence he had on ATCQ and how he essentially MADE neo-soul and the hip hop that accompanies it. In the forum with 9th and ?uest, ?uest told himself he would go the entire forum without saying Dilla's name, which just shows you how BIG of an influence... not only that but he was to Slum Village what 9th was to LB. Really impressive producer...
