Mix: DJ DiBiase Broke $ Boujee 8/21/08

Last month Broke & Boujee returned as an 18+ event which is just in time for the school year! I love DJing college parties because these kids come out to party, not to sit and be seen, so im really looking forward to next Thursday @ The 5 Spot in Lil 5 and it's my birthday!

PS: Girl to Guy ratio @ these parties is like 5:2 (And those 5s are 7s and better)

Here's a mix I put together for the jawn.

East Village, Before the Gentry

Incredible slide show on NYTimes.com featuring the work of Q. Sakamaki, a Japanese photographer living in New York, who "has forged a reputation as a documentarian of conflict and suffering." His new book, “Tompkins Square Park,” returns to his early days in New York and documents the community around Tompkins Square Park in the 1980s.
